Help support our cause champions raise funds for golf course workers across the country. These people have not been able to earn for more than half a year due to lockdowns enforced as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

About the Cause Champions

Pranavi Urs, Viraj Madappa and Chikkarangappa S are India’s ace professional golfers. the three of them train at YWGC-Mysore, RCGC- Kolkata and Eagleton Golf Resort, Bangalore respectively. Each have won multiple events in domestic tours and also compete regularly international events.

About the Cause

The effects of the COVID-19 pandemic have been widespread. In India, almost all sporting activity has been disrupted thus affecting those people whose livelihoods rely on sports. Through the cause champions, we have identified more than 400 workers at several golf courses across the country who are in need of essentials support.

Due to the current situation, they have struggled to find work as the golf courses have been temporarily closed and golfers have not been training. This cause aims to raise funds for those workers and their families, to support and sustain them through this time of need. Every rupee contributed goes a long way in supporting these people who have devoted their lives to golf. We aim to raise Rs. 5 Lakhs to support these workers and their families through this tough period by procuring them essential groceries for a month.

Intended Beneficiaries

Through this initiative, we are aiming to support more than 400 daily wagers who work at the golf courses. They work on the courses as caddies, performing various roles such as cleaning balls, pulling carts, carrying golf bags and other jobs. For many years, they have supported several top golfers in India and ensure the smooth running of competitions and training sessions.

They have been silent contributors to the sport for years and now it is time for us to support and assist them through these difficult times so they can continue to be a part of the golf ecosystem post-pandemic.

All funds raised will be distributed directly to the identified beneficiaries in the form of groceries.

Come join our team and help us support those who play an extremely crucial role in shaping the future of Golf n India. Come #PlayForIndia.
